What’s Your Occupation?
I’m a student at Griffith, but I do some tutoring, gardening and odd jobs here and there – and hopefully some coaching here at Aeon soon!
What are your Hobbies?
I have a few hobbies, reading, playing guitar, surfing, I have to spend most of my time studying but still do some volunteering at the Childrens’ hospital when I can.
What Was Your First CrossFit Workout?
My first workout was an AMRAP of 200m runs and push press, I was hooked straight away.
How Long Have You Done CrossFit For?
7 months at Aeon, it’s been awesome.
What are your Strength/Weakness and Brag?
Brag would be runs, strength would be chipper WODs but strength/ one rep maxes really let me down : (
How Do You See CrossFit Different From Other Programs?
It captivates you and keeps driving you to be better, stronger and faster due to it’s varied workouts and laid back atmosphere with great people. Basically Addictive!
How Have You Changed Since CrossFit?
I love Crossfit because it pushes you to challenge yourself and work on your weaknesses, not just specialise on your strengths. You can never be bored, there’s always something else to work on and you always have people to push you to try harder. My approach to and perceptions of training have really changed. I no longer look at is at a chore, more of a challenge.
What Are Your Goals?
I’d really love to compete in competitions, be able to RX the majority of workouts and starting lifting some really heavy weight
Tell Us Something Funny That Has Happened Too You, Or A Joke?
The first time I tried an overhead squat after my hip injury I dropped the bar on my head and nearly blacked out.

I used to be really, really, really overweight. Really
